  • Garlic powder, onion powder, S&P
  • 1 T Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 2 T oil
  • 1 T tamari or coconut aminos
  • Drizzle of honey
Special Sauce
  • ½ C mayo
  • ¼ C ketchup
  • 1 T relish
  • 1 tsp pickle juice
  • 2 tsp yellow mustard
  • 2 T coconut sugar or brown sugar
  • 1 tsp white wine vinegar
  • ¼ C very finely diced yellow onion
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ salt
  • Sprinkle of cayenne if you like spice

Instructions

  1. Brown your ground beef over medium-high heat, season to taste with S&P, minced garlic, and Worcestershire sauce. Set aside
  2. Slice sweet potatoes into fries, and then soak in cold water for 30+ minutes to remove starch for maximum crispiness
  3. Pat them dry and toss in 1 T oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and S&P
  4. Spread in a single layer in an air fryer and air fry at 390℉ for 16 minutes, tossing halfway through
  5. While the sweet potato fries are cooking, caramelize the onions. Heat 1 T oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and add onion, stirring frequently
  6. Once they begin to brown, add tamari and drizzle of honey, and continue sautéing until translucent and brown
  7. Make the special sauce: whisk (puree if you want a smooth consistency) all special sauce ingredients
  8. Assemble your bowls: start with a bed of chopped butter lettuce, top with freshly cooked ground hamburger, caramelized onions, cucumbers, tomatoes, pickles, bacon, and sweet potato fries or wedges
  9. Drizzle with the special sauce, top with cheese if not dairy free. One of my favorite meals!
