Perfect Soft Boiled Eggs

I love soft boiled eggs, especially meal prepping to bring to work for my 15 minute morning break. These are my foolproof way of cooking them that turns out every time! Also included on how to make them a little less soft if the ones pictured are a little too jammy for you.

  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil

  2. Gently place each egg into the boiling water using a slotted spoon or tongs

  3. Boil for 7 minutes (9 minutes if you want them less runny)

  4. Transfer eggs to an ice bath (bowl filled with water and ice) to shock them and prevent them from cooking further. I leave them in the ice bath for 10-15 minutes and then transfer to the refrigerator
