Funfetti Donuts

Fun and yummy, and much easier to make than they seem!

Prepare 1 box gluten-free funfetti cake mix (I used Pillsbury with success) and spray a donut pan with nonstick spray

  1. Pour batter into a gallon ziplock bag and cut a hole on one corner so that you can pipe it out into donut cavities

  2. Bake at 350 ° F for 10-12 minutes

  3. Let cool for a minute and then gently remove from the donut pan (I used a mini silicone spatula which worked well without ruining them), flipping them over so that the part that was on the bottom of the pan is facing the ceiling… you definitely do not have to do this, I just have found that that side is smoother and looks better with the glaze

  4. Make the glaze: simply whisk 3 T (can increase as necessary) milk of choice or water with 2 C powdered sugar and 1/4 tsp almond extract

  5. Once donuts are cooled, dip the top of each donut in glaze, letting excess drip off for a moment and then place back on the cooling rack *if you want to avoid a huge cleanup, place something disposable under your cooling rack because they keep dripping glaze until it sets*

  6. Sprinkle with gluten free sprinkles while glaze is still wet

ENJOY 🙂 perfect for birthdays. Came up with this idea for my bestie’s birthday, she LOVES funfetti! They were a hit!
