GF DF Hamburger Helper

Who else grew up eating hamburger helper?! This is an even TASTIER version. It's also much healthier and both gluten and dairy free.I used this recipe for the "sauce" and cooked some Banza chickpea elbow-shaped pasta for a Celiac friendly, high protein meal!

A FAQ I get a lot on instagram is 'how do you cook Banza?'

The answer is that I literally just follow the instructions on the back of the box! I bring salted water to a boil, add the pasta, stir frequently (the foaming is expected) while cooking for about 7 minutes (I always eat one noodle to see how cooked they are before straining- I like to cook them slightly al dente because otherwise it seems to end up somewhat mushy), strain and rinse with cold water to keep the pasta from cooking further.

Enjoy! xoxo
